Q: Someone offered me a judgment where their attorney has a lien on 1/3 of whatever the plaintiff recovers. I think I have to wait for their attorney to lower or eliminate his unrecorded lien on the case, do you have another idea?
A: Often the solution is to eventually pay the OJC
and notice the attorney, or have both the lawyer
and the OJC sign your paperwork, or ask the creditor to work out a deal with their attorney to have you attempt to recover the judgment.
